Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Chennai for an English Drama Teacher. The English Drama Teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging drama lessons, teaching acting techniques, guiding students in theatrical performances and developing a creative, inclusive curriculum. The role also involves mentoring and inspiring students to explore their potential in the performing arts while cultivating their skills in improvisation, storytelling and stage presence. The teachers will be part of the Alchemy Kids & Youth Theatre, teaching students across the centres and schools associated with Alchemy. Alchemy is a great space for both personal & professional growth.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree from any stream
  • Open to beginners
  • Exposure to Drama / Storytelling / Performing Arts
  • Proficiency in Spoken and Written English
  • Experience in Teaching and Teaching Speech & Drama to students of different age groups.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively mentor and inspire students.
  • A passion for working with young learners and guiding them in their artistic journeys
