The Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Jodhpur is open for PhD applications in emerging areas of mechanical engineering including soft matter physics & applications and transport phenomena.

FTD Lab is seeking enthusiastic, motivated and innovative students interested in working on fundamental and applied problems spanning theory, computation and experimentation in the below-highlighted research areas as well as related fields. If you are passionate about fluid mechanics, solid mechanics, solute & thermal transport processes and/or interdisciplinary research, FTD Lab will be a great fit for you and vice versa.
