Job Description – Python Full Stack Developer (Django / AWS Containers)

Location: Pan India

Exp: 7+yrs

We are looking for a skilled Python Full Stack Developer to support the redevelopment, enhancement, and rollout of our scientific data applications, including Helios and Chronos. The role involves modernizing existing tools, integrating multiple data sources, and deploying containerized applications in AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Rewrite, update, and optimize the Helios data reporting software for a harmonized, multi‑site environment.
• Develop features using Python with a Django frontend.
• Integrate and retrieve data from multiple systems (LIMS DB, Hercules DB, Chronos DB, Data Hub) using direct DB connections and REST APIs.
• Extend, validate, and deploy Chronos (qPCR analysis tool) built with Python, Django, and PostgreSQL.
• Build, maintain, and deploy applications running in Docker containers on AWS.
• Contribute to future migration efforts toward Azure.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Python and Django (frontend + backend).
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and working with multiple data sources.
• Experience with REST APIs and direct database integrations.
• Hands‑on expertise with Docker and containerized application deployment.
• Experience working with AWS (ECS, ECR, or similar).

Nice to Have

• Experience in scientific or laboratory data systems.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services
