Distribution Manager

We are seeking a Distribution Manager ready to join a fast-growing company. Reporting to the Vice President of Distribution & BPE, the Distribution Manager is responsible for overall supply chain management. The responsibilities include inventory planning and procurement, vendor management, fulfillment, and RPM equipment fleet management. These processes must be managed in a manner to enhance business development, ensure sustainability, and increase customer satisfaction.

Shift: Monday-Friday. Candidates for this position must be able to work five days a week in our Livermore office.

Hours: 7:30 AM to 4 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Manage forecasting of inventoried and 3rd party delivered patient supplies
• Organize and monitor the storage and distribution of goods
• Manage carrier relationships, transportation, and other logistics processes
• Manage the daily receiving and fulfillment processes
• Manage the remote patient monitoring equipment returns to ensure the equipment is disinfected, functions properly and system records are correct before returning equipment to inventory
• Ensure that quality, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met
• Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
• Partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers
• Enforce established safety guidelines; promote a safe workplace.
• Manage and develop distribution staff
• Performs other duties as directed or assigned to meet the needs of the department
  
  

Skills and Qualifications Requirements

• Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory control, distribution, business, and management principles
• Strong team player
• Ability to manage, coach, and provide training for direct reports
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Strong Excel user with experience transforming system data into userfriendly reports
• Experience with warehouse management/ERP systems and shipping software
  
  

Education/Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, business administration, science, or engineering preferred
• 35 years of experience in warehousing and logistics, with increasing responsibility in people and process management
• Experience leading small teams in a dynamic environment, preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Business Central, preferred
• Experience in directtoconsumer distribution and small parcel logistics, preferred
