We are hiring a Director of Growth & Marketing to lead and operationalize our marketing function. This role owns booking growth, performance strategy, and the systems that support them — while ensuring our voice and positioning remain distinct and premium.


You will sit at the intersection of strategy, execution, storytelling, and revenue. You are responsible for turning vision into structured growth and ensuring our marketing consistently moves women from interest to booking.


This role reports directly to the CEO and carries full ownership of the marketing engine end-to-end.


What You Will OwnRevenue & Performance

  • Develop and execute marketing strategy aligned to annual booking targets
  • Set campaign forecasts based on past performance, ad spend, conversion rates, and asset strength
  • Define and track KPIs tied to revenue (not vanity metrics)
  • Evaluate funnel performance and identify leaks
  • Integrate paid (agency partner), organic, email, and campaigns into one cohesive system
  • Ensure performance accountability across channels


Paid & SEO Oversight

  • Serve as primary internal lead for paid and SEO strategy in partnership with external agency support
  • Align acquisition strategy with booking targets
  • Hold the agency accountable to performance standards
  • Ensure paid traffic connects properly to landing pages, email, and nurture flows


Growth Strategy & Content Leadership

  • Lead content strategy across digital channels - supports bookings, not just engagement.
  • Oversee social media with a focus on authority, demand creation, community engagement, and funnel support (ManyChat, etc.)
  • Maintain authority within priority destinations and trip pillars
  • Translate trip features into clear emotional outcomes
  • Ensure messaging reflects premium positioning


Email, Funnels & Website Execution

  • Overhaul and manage email marketing and lifecycle flows
  • Write emails in the interim as needed
  • Build and improve nurture sequences that warm leads toward booking
  • Manage website content, updates, and landing pages (not technical SEO)
  • Ensure site content supports campaign and funnel flow

You will be doing real execution work here — not just delegating.


Campaign Development

  • Develop and manage two major growth-focused campaigns per year and one smaller campaign
  • Build timelines, manage assets, and execute the plan
  • Forecast performance
  • Conduct post-campaign reviews: what worked, what didn’t, what compounds


Growth Systems & Project Management

This is critical.

You must be able to run marketing like an operating system.

  • Build repeatable, scalable systems for content production, campaign launches, and authority marketing
  • Run monthly projects with clear start and finish points
  • Prioritize projects and say no to work that does not make sense right now
  • Finish projects before starting new ones
  • Maintain and improve Asana boards
  • Develop scalable playbooks and repeatable processes
  • Hire and manage freelancers as needed
  • Lead weekly marketing meetings
  • Meet weekly with the CEO

This is not a task-taker role.


You must have experience operating in a fully remote team environment. Virtual office work requires self-direction, communication discipline, and structured follow-through.


Required Experience

  • 7+ years in growth, digital marketing, or performance-focused marketing roles
  • Personal familiarity with outdoor or active travel experiences
  • Ability to understand physical activity levels and adventure positioning
  • Proven experience driving organic growth tied to revenue
  • Strong funnel and lifecycle marketing experience
  • Real project management and systems-building experience
  • Experience managing agency partners
  • Comfort working directly with a founder/CEO
  • Familiarity with EOS / Traction or similar frameworks


Compensation & Structure

  • Full-Time, Salaried Position
  • Base Salary: $85,000–$95,000
  • 3% IRA Match
  • 100% Remote (Cincinnati-area preferred for occasional in-person strategy sessions)
  • Travel opportunities


This is a senior leadership role with direct access to the CEO and real ownership over growth strategy, performance, and marketing operations.


Compensation is aligned with experience and demonstrated ability to own revenue performance and execution at a high level.
