Job Description
Purpose: To develop systems and processes to meet the placement objectives of the business school and the office of Career Advancement Services.
Job Outline: As Director, CAS you will be responsible for building capacity, capability of your immediate team and team members and the institution at large. You will work in tandem with all the stake holders of the school and external organizations ensuring coherence and harmony. As Director, CAS your job role entails responsibilities on the following fronts but not limited to;
- To set up robust systems and process of placements
- To plan the CAS activities, implement, review and ensure continuous improvement on a yearly basis
- To identify and recruit right talents for the CAS team
- To devise and implement strategies and plans with an objective of maximizing job offers and career options to students
- To devise and implement policies to map student competencies and career goals and provide suitable opportunities to meet their aspirations
- To maintain and strengthen relationship with the existing recruiters and onboard new recruiters
- To regularly connect with students, student bodies for a better understanding of their aspirations and career choices
- To engage with alumni and enhance alumni engagement in all CAS related activities / initiatives
- To enhance participation of companies in the campus placement / internship drives by engaging with existing and onboarding new companies
- To ensure robustness of training process, students’ readiness for the internship / placement drive in coordination with the training & academic departments of the school
- Aligning with the school's vision of providing career advancement services to its students
- To ensure and take ownership of smooth execution of all activities related to internships and placements of the business school
