- Manages all project management teams to support the construction division.
- Oversee the development of the project schedules, milestone and critical path creation.
- Review and approve project budgets.
- Assign Project Managers to their projects according to skillsets and best fits.
- Manage teams’ performance, goal setting, growth and uphold company standards.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Hold timely performance reviews for team members.
- Assist in interviews and hiring process for construction and preconstruction.
- Review project managers’ weekly project updates and schedules.
- Review and sign construction documents, including contracts, change orders, subcontracts, warranty and closeout documents and all other related items.
- 11. Ensure all team members are upholding the highest standards of safety requirements.
- 12. Assist and coach team in conflict resolution and problem solving as it presents itself through stages of projects.
- 15 years with related project management experience or equivalent.
- Degree in construction management or related field a plus.
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills through all measures of projects.
- Experience with scheduling, basic estimating or knowledge of typical market pricing, management of personnel, vendors and subcontractors.
- Experience in retail, QSR & FSR restaurants, grocery, big box and shopping centers are preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of New Construction and remodel/retrofits.
- Ability to analyze potential risks relating to schedule, cost and reputation.
- Proficient with budgeting, forecast budgeting, forecast projections, project cash flow projections.
- Proficient with computers and familiar with Microsoft suite.
- Experience with Procore is a strongly preferred.
- Experience with Blue Beam is strongly preferred.
- Must be proficient in building project schedules.
- Experience with Building Connected is a plus.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and problem solving.
- Have the willingness and know-how to make things happen.
- Values diversity of ideas and others’ opinions. Have good common sense and logical thinking.
- Ability to lead and demonstrates strong communication skills with internal teams.
- Analytical thinking, ability to value engineer complex projects.
- General sales skills, ability to represent the company with pride and integrity.
