Job Summary
The Director, Enterprise Transformation will play a central role in implementing the company’s enterprise AI and transformation strategy under the leadership of the SVP of Enterprise Strategy & Transformation. This role will lead cross-functional coordination with the AI Council and key stakeholders across IT and the business to identify, prioritize, and deliver AI-enabled initiatives that accelerate strategic objectives, improve operational performance, and enhance customer and employee experience.
The Director will translate enterprise strategy into a structured roadmap of AI programs and use cases, ensuring initiatives are aligned to measurable business outcomes, delivered responsibly, and embedded sustainably into the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in transformation or change management leadership, program execution, AI enablement, stakeholder alignment, and business process redesign, with a pragmatic approach to adoption and value realization.
Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy Execution & Enterprise Roadmap
- Drive execution of the enterprise AI strategy in partnership with the SVP of Enterprise Strategy & Transformation.
- Translate strategic goals into an actionable portfolio of AI programs, pilots, and scaled deployments.
- Build and maintain an enterprise AI roadmap aligned to company strategic initiatives, value creation, and delivery capacity.
AI Council Coordination & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Lead coordination with the AI Council, including agenda planning, intake processes, prioritization workflows, and decision documentation.
- Ensure alignment across IT, product, operations, risk, compliance, finance, legal, and business leaders for AI-enabled initiatives.
- Serve as a connector between strategy, delivery teams, and business owners to accelerate decision-making and remove barriers.
AI Use Case Identification & Strategic Enablement
- Partner with business leaders to identify high-impact AI opportunities that improve company strategic initiatives (e.g., growth, customer experience, efficiency, risk reduction).
- Lead discovery efforts to define AI use cases, expected outcomes, readiness requirements, and feasibility.
- Support business case development, including ROI models, operational impact, and change requirements.
Program Leadership & Delivery Oversight
- Lead planning, execution, and governance of AI-related transformation initiatives across the enterprise.
- Ensure initiatives follow defined best practices for program delivery, value tracking, and stakeholder reporting.
- Manage interdependencies across teams and workstreams, ensuring delivery remains aligned to strategy.
Adoption, Change Management & Value Realization
- Drive organizational adoption of AI solutions through structured change management, training, and communications.
- Establish success metrics and ensure AI initiatives achieve measurable and sustained business value.
- Promote repeatable frameworks for scaling AI beyond pilots into operationalized solutions.
Data, Technology, and Responsible AI Enablement
- Partner with IT leadership to ensure AI initiatives are supported by required data, architecture, governance, and tooling.
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, and legal partners to ensure AI initiatives are implemented responsibly, securely, and ethically.
- Support development of enterprise standards for AI implementation, including guardrails, documentation, and controls.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in transformation, strategy execution, program leadership, or digital enablement roles (financial services preferred).
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across business and technology stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of AI capabilities and how they translate into business value (including GenAI and automation).
- Proven ability to build roadmaps, structure ambiguity, and lead enterprise-level coordination and prioritization.
- Strong experience with change management methodologies (PROSCI, ADKAR, or equivalent).
- Experience working with governance bodies (steering committees, councils, executive leadership forums).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at senior levels.
- Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or continuous improvement methods is a plus.
