Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Customer Strategy to lead the development and execution of customer-focused commercial strategies. This role will drive growth by aligning cross-functional teams, leveraging data-driven insights, and building strong partnerships with key customers and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Strategy & Commercial Leadership

  • Develop and execute customer strategies to drive channel growth, engagement, and long-term business performance
  • Lead strategic planning aligned with enterprise and commercial objectives
  • Identify market opportunities and create differentiated strategies to enhance competitive advantage


Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Category Management
  • Partner with senior leadership to shape strategic decisions using customer insights
  • Ensure alignment of customer strategies with overall business goals


Data-Driven Insights & Optimization

  • Utilize analytics and insights to optimize channel performance and customer engagement
  • Evaluate commercial investments and influence profitability outcomes
  • Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks to track performance and continuous improvement


Retailer & Partner Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners
  • Lead joint business planning initiatives and develop compelling value propositions


Organizational Leadership

  • Mentor and develop team members to build strategic and commercial capabilities
  • Promote a customer-centric approach across the organization
  • Drive adoption of best practices in strategy and execution


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in customer strategy, commercial strategy, or related roles
  • Proven experience developing and executing customer-focused strategies
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consumer goods or related industries
  • Experience working in cross-market or global environments
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and P&L management
  • Ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience leveraging technology and analytics to drive strategy
