PACKAGE : USD 3,500 – 4,000 (Net of Tax) + Housing Allowance + Pick & Drop Transport

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced PPC professional as the DGM – Planning to lead production planning and capacity management across 03 large-scale apparel manufacturing units in Bangladesh with approximately 90+ production lines. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in woven garment manufacturing, particularly jackets, bottoms, and shorts within export-oriented factories. The role requires expertise in line loading, capacity utilization, production efficiency, shipment planning, and cross-functional coordination with merchandising, IE, sourcing, and production teams in a multi-factory environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production Planning & Capacity Management

• Lead overall PPC and capacity planning operations across 03 manufacturing units
• Manage planning for approximately 90+ production lines covering jackets and non-jacket woven products
• Develop monthly, weekly, and daily production plans aligned with shipment priorities and factory capacities
• Ensure optimum line loading, balancing, and capacity utilisation across all units
• Monitor production flow to minimize bottlenecks, idle time, and capacity losses

Woven Product Planning

• Handle production planning for woven garments with strong focus on jackets, shorts, and bottoms
• Coordinate closely with production and IE teams to ensure realistic SMV-based planning
• Plan production considering wash capacities, critical operations, and style complexities
• Monitor style-wise efficiencies, learning curves, and execution risks for outerwear products

Cross Functional Coordination

• Liaise with merchandising, sourcing, warehouse, cutting, sewing, finishing, and QA teams to ensure material and production readiness
• Coordinate with factory leadership to achieve shipment targets and customer delivery expectations
• Work closely with senior management on production forecasting and operational planning strategies
• Ensure proactive risk identification and contingency planning for delays or capacity constraints

Systems, Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare and analyze production planning reports, capacity reports, shipment status, and utilization dashboards
• Monitor KPIs related to OTIF, efficiency, WIP control, line productivity, and planning accuracy
• Drive data-based decision making to improve operational performance across units
• Support ERP/MIS driven planning environments and production tracking systems

Leadership & Operational Excellence

• Lead and mentor PPC teams across multiple factories
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning accuracy, workflow optimization, and productivity enhancement
• Establish strong planning discipline and operational coordination within the manufacturing network
• Contribute towards strategic factory expansion and operational scaling initiatives

PRE - REQUSITES:

• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in apparel manufacturing with strong exposure to Production Planning & Control (PPC), capacity planning, and high-volume woven production operations
• Currently working as a Production Manager, Production Planning Manager, Senior PPC Manager, or in a similar leadership role within the apparel industry
• Strong hands-on experience in woven garments, especially jackets, outerwear, woven bottoms, and shorts
• Proven experience managing multi-factory or large-scale production planning operations within export-oriented apparel manufacturing environments
• Strong understanding of production flow, line planning, IE concepts, shipment management, and factory capacity utilization
• Excellent analytical, leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing environments with cross-functional coordination across multiple teams and factories
