Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our infrastructure, ensuring smooth deployment processes, and maintaining system reliability. You will have the opportunity to own significant features and projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in our deployment pipelines and overall system performance. As a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer, you will also play a role in mentoring junior engineers occasionally, helping to foster a culture of learning and innovation. Your expertise in cloud services, automation tools, and CI/CD practices will be crucial in guiding our technical decisions and implementing best practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities

Own and manage features/projects from inception to deployment Participate in design decisions and architecture discussions Implement automation and CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in a DevOps role or related field Proven track record of managing deployment processes in a cloud environment Demonstrated capability to work independently and take ownership of projects Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Some leadership experience or a desire to mentor others in technical skills Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack Ability to work in an Agile environment and participate in sprint planning
