DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes | Remote

Position: DevOps Engineer

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $200K - $300K/yr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance infrastructure scalability and reliability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring processes.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS and GCP.
• Maintain system documentation and enforce operational best practices.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of production systems.

Requirements

• Strong experience in DevOps or related engineering roles.
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, automation frameworks, and version control systems.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
• Strong understanding of system scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
