Role Description

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer with strong experience in ASP.NET Core and modern .NET frameworks, building RESTful APIs, and delivering cloud-native microservices. The ideal candidate will have exposure to Docker/Kubernetes, understands microservices architecture, and has working experience deploying and operating services in Azure and/or AWS.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing backend services using ASP.NET Core / latest .NET.
Build and maintain APIs using ASP.NET Web API, ensuring strong adherence to REST/HTTP standards and clean API contracts.
Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT basics, token validation flows).
Work with application state mechanisms like sessions and cookies where applicable.
Develop clean, maintainable C# code with appropriate patterns and best practices.
Use tools/libraries such as AutoMapper for object-object mapping and maintaining clean separation of concerns.
Build and evolve microservices, including service boundaries, inter-service communication, and resilience patterns.
Containerize applications using Docker and support deployments to Kubernetes clusters.
Deploy, monitor, and optimize services in Azure or AWS, following cloud-native practices (observability, resiliency, scaling).
Collaborate with product owners, architects, DevOps/SRE, and QA to deliver high-quality releases.
Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and incident root-cause analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-Have)

Strong hands-on development experience with:

ASP.NET Core and latest .NET frameworks
ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API
C#, JSON, REST/HTTP

Practical experience with:

AutoMapper
Sessions, Cookies
JWT (Basics) – token creation/validation, claims, expiry, refresh concepts

Strong experience with Docker (build, optimize, run containers).
Working experience with Kubernetes (deployments, services, ingress, configmaps/secrets, scaling).
