Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Building Design Architect for the role of Design Manager with a strong background in large-scale commercial and retail projects.

This role involves leading design strategy, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring design excellence from concept development through working drawings. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience from concept design to working drawing stage, along with strong communication and presentation skills to effectively manage client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the overall design process, working collaboratively with internal teams and consultants.
• Ensure design excellence, technical accuracy, and compliance with client requirements.
• Manage and contribute to large-scale commercial and retail projects.
• Prepare and participate in design presentations and client meetings.
• Ensure all designs align with client vision while adhering to regulatory standards, local codes, and industry best practices.
• Oversee preparation of architectural drawings and documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Address technical challenges during drawing production and provide effective design solutions.
• Coordinate closely with site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Candidate Profile

• Formal Degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch)
• 5–9 years of relevant architectural experience
• Strong experience in commercial and retail project design
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage client expectations and deliver within timelines
