About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Design Manager with an architectural background to lead the design development of modern, sustainable, and large-scale industrial and logistics parks. In this role, you will bridge the gap between conceptual architecture, technical feasibility, and project execution. You will be responsible for managing design consultants, ensuring compliance with local regulatory bodies, and delivering state-of-the-art warehousing and industrial facilities from concept to completion

Key Responsibilities
- Design Leadership & Management: Lead and manage the entire design lifecycle for large-scale industrial, logistics, and supply chain infrastructure projects
- Consultant Coordination: Coordinate with external architectural, structural, MEP, and environmental consultants to ensure integrated, cost-effective, and high-quality design deliverables.
- Regulatory Compliance: Review and ensure all master plans and building designs strictly comply with local building bylaws, zoning regulations, and government land allotment boards.
- Sustainability Integration: Drive the implementation of modern, sustainable design technologies, focusing on green building certifications (IGBC/LEED), energy efficiency, and low-carbon footprint infrastructure.
- Project Documentation: Overlook the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), master plans, conceptual layouts, and project implementation schedules required for internal stakes and government approvals.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution. Council of Architecture (COA) registration is preferred.
- Experience: 4–6 years of proven experience specifically in design management or architectural roles focused on industrial parks, logistics hubs, mega-warehouses, or complex manufacturing facilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Project. Revit, BIM workflows would be an added advantage.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of pre-engineered building (PEB) structures, industrial flooring specifications, firefighting standards (NBC compliance), and master planning for heavy vehicular movement.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills to effectively manage cross-functional teams and external government or corporate stakeholders.
