Design Expert

About the Role

We are looking for a customer-centric and creative Design Expert to join our team. This role combines interior design expertise with consultative sales, where you will engage with clients, understand their requirements, create personalized design solutions, and convert leads into successful projects. You will collaborate closely with the sales, project, and execution teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience from consultation to project handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet prospective clients to understand their lifestyle, design preferences, budget, and project requirements.
• Conduct design consultations and recommend suitable home interior solutions.
• Create space plans, furniture layouts, mood boards, and design concepts.
• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D design presentations using design software.
• Present design proposals and explain concepts to clients.
• Prepare project quotations and assist in commercial discussions.
• Drive lead conversion by building customer confidence and addressing design-related queries.
• Coordinate with the sales team to achieve conversion and revenue targets.
• Work closely with project managers and execution teams to ensure design feasibility and smooth project execution.
• Conduct site visits when required for measurements, design validation, and client discussions.
• Manage design revisions and ensure timely delivery of design milestones.
• Stay updated on the latest interior design trends, materials, finishes, and products.
• Maintain project documentation and update CRM/design records.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in home interiors, with exposure to both client-facing design consultations and sales.
• Experience in achieving design conversion or sales targets is preferred.
