Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify the design, drawings, and structural calculations for railway bridges, station buildings, ROBs/RUBs, retaining walls, and other civil structures, ensuring compliance with RDSO, IRS, IS Codes, and contract specifications.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, railway authorities, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve design interfaces, technical queries, and construction-related design issues.
• Evaluate design changes, value engineering proposals, and construction methodologies, ensuring structural safety, constructability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure execution conforms to approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements, while providing technical support during site execution.
• Prepare technical review reports, maintain design approval records, participate in design review meetings, and track the progress of design submissions and statutory approvals.
