Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and intercompany reconciliations across multiple group entities.

The candidate will act as the finance SPOC for the NBFC while also supporting GL/R2R functions for other regulated entities. The role demands strong knowledge of Accounting, Ind AS, RBI regulations, financial controls and preparation of financial statements

NBFC Entity Accounting & Month-End Closure
End-to-end ownership of NBFC books, including GL postings, reconciliations, provisioning, impairment/ECL, and trial balance finalization.
Monitor loan disbursement, collections, interest income recognition (EIR), and related accounting entries.
Ensure timely month-end close with zero gaps.
GL / R2R for Other Group Entities
Reconciliation of control accounts GLs
Perform month-end close activities including preparation and review of balance sheet schedules/workings
Regulatory Compliance & Reporting
Prepare and file RBI returns (NBFC – DNBS, CRILC, CIC etc)
Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, GST for NBFC entity.
Track regulatory updates (RBI) and implement changes.
Financial Statements & Audit
Prepare standalone financial statements under Ind AS for NBFC
Support group consolidation and intercompany eliminations.
Coordinate with statutory auditors for smooth closure of audits across all entities.
Draft notes to accounts and regulatory disclosures entity-wise.
Intercompany Reconciliations & Cross-Charge Management
Perform intercompany reconciliations across group entities.
Manage cross-charge workings for shared services
Ensure timely settlement of balances and arm’s length compliance for related-party transactions.
Internal Financial Controls & Risk Management
Establish and monitor IFC framework across entities, with special focus on lending business
Define accounting policies for provisioning, revenue recognition, and securitisation/assignment.
Oversee fund flow and treasury management, ensuring regulatory liquidity ratios are met.
ERP & Systems Integration
Collaborate with ERP/Tech/Product teams to implement NBFC modules (loan accounting, ECL, collections) and entity-specific integrations.
Ensure system reconciliations between ERP and LMS platforms.
Drive automation in reconciliations and reporting.
Business Partnering & Strategic Finance
Provide financial insights to business teams across lending
Deliver timely MIS and dashboards aligned with regulatory and management needs.
