Job Description

Product Strategy & Portfolio Management

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of assigned products from concept to launch and post-launch evaluation.
  • Develop and execute product strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor product performance, market trends, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and recommend product enhancements or portfolio rationalization.

Product Development & Launch Management

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for product development initiatives.
  • Lead new product launches, product upgrades, and line extensions.
  • Develop launch plans and ensure timely execution across regions and channels.
  • Track launch performance and recommend corrective actions where required.

Marketing & Brand Support

  • Develop product positioning, key selling propositions, and communication frameworks.
  • Work with creative agencies for development of marketing collateral, brochures, digital assets, and point-of-sale materials.
  • Support sales teams through product training, presentations, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency in product communication across all touchpoints.
  • Scheme preparation, calculation, communication & overall management

Market Intelligence & Insights

  • Primary & Secondary Research
  • Monitor industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging trends.
  • Analyze sales data and market performance to support business decisions.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Coordinate with vendors and agencies for timely delivery of projects.
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements and execution teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA preferred.

Experience

  • 4–8 years of experience in Marketing, Product Management, Category Management, Brand Management.
  • Experience in Building materials, FMCG, Telecom, consumer durables, manufacturing, or related industries preferred.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data analysis, dashboard creation, budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to develop impactful management presentations, product launch decks, business reviews, and sales presentations.
  • Inclination towards product design and aesthetics, with the ability to contribute to product conceptualization, design development, trend analysis, and customer-centric innovation.
