Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with strategy, growth portfolio, portfolio monitoring, corporate development and M&A team of the client
- Independently support across segments on valuation, model validation, investment research, investment memo, board presentation, investment thesis etc.
- Provide insight and financial analyze of the financial statements such as Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow etc.
- Develop financial models for valuation, financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting purposes (using different methodologies; DCF, IRR, CM Multiple, Cap Rate, etc.)
- Ensure consistency in models and document the operation of models and finding from the client request
- Analyze financial and non-financial data to provide insights
- Strategic and financial fit assessment
- Financial and commercial due diligence support
- Investment Committee materials and deal packs
- Post-transaction performance tracking
- Business case development and financial analysis
- Scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Portfolio KPIs and performance dashboards
- Understand client objectives and design strategy, interpret and analyze information for accuracy, exhaustiveness, and applicability in resolving the research problem.
- Contributes toward managing project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure “high client satisfaction”.
- Demonstrate strength and flair in client/requester relationship building and management.
- Experience of about 7-12 years on performing financial modelling, due diligence, M&A and deal support, financial analysis, presentation, competitive & operational benchmarking studies, etc.
- Excellent knowledge & experience on preparation of high quality – power point presentations, excel based financial modelling & analysis.
- Experience on managing internal & external clients, delivering projects/assignments, building cases and scenario analysis.
- Expected to work independently or with minimal guidance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Qualification as MBA / CFA/ CA
- Knowledge of various databases (Capital IQ, FactSet, Pitchbook, Bloomberg, etc.)
