Role Description The Delivery Driver at Qkart Retail is a full-time, on-site role based in Solan. The Delivery Driver is responsible for picking up orders from local shopkeepers, safely transporting and delivering packages to customers, and ensuring orders arrive on time and in good condition. Daily tasks include planning delivery routes, loading and unloading goods, verifying order details, handling cash or digital payments when required, and maintaining delivery records. The Delivery Driver also interacts with customers, addresses basic inquiries, and represents Qkart Retail with professional and courteous behavior. Keeping the vehicle clean, performing basic safety checks, and following all traffic and company guidelines are essential parts of the role.
Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with customers and shopkeepers.
• Experience in basic sales or retail environments, with an understanding of order handling and product delivery processes.
• Ability to receive and follow training on delivery procedures, safety standards, and use of company tools or apps.
• Experience in food & beverage delivery or handling is beneficial, especially for time-sensitive or fragile items.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and familiarity with routes in and around Solan.
• Ability to lift and carry packages safely, and to work on feet for extended periods.
• Basic smartphone and navigation app proficiency for route optimization and delivery tracking.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong focus on safety and compliance with traffic regulations.
