Role Description The Debt Collection Agency Team Leader at V CATCH is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. The Team Leader oversees a team of collection agents, setting daily targets, monitoring performance, and providing coaching to ensure effective recovery of outstanding debts. This role involves analyzing portfolios, prioritizing accounts, and developing collection strategies aligned with client and regulatory requirements. The Team Leader handles escalated customer interactions, ensures high standards of customer service, and maintains accurate records of collection activities. The position also includes collaborating with finance and operations teams, preparing performance reports, and driving process improvements to optimize collections and team productivity.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Debt Collection and Finance skills, including knowledge of collection processes and basic financial concepts.
  • Candidates should possess proven Team Leadership and people management skills, with experience leading target-driven teams.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, including clear communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to review data, identify trends, and refine collection strategies.
  • Relevant experience in a collection agency, BPO, or contact center environment is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards related to debt collection is an advantage.
  • Ability to work with CRM or collection management tools and basic MS Office applications.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
