About the Role
Lovely Professional University (LPU) is seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Lead – Performance Marketing to lead our digital acquisition and growth marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving high-volume customer acquisition, optimizing marketing ROI, and managing large-scale digital campaigns across multiple channels.
This is a strategic leadership role requiring a hands-on professional who can build, execute, and optimize data-driven performance marketing campaigns while leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive performance marketing strategies aligned with the university's enrolment and brand objectives.
- Plan, manage, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Programmatic Display, and other digital platforms.
- Drive qualified lead generation while optimizing Cost per Lead (CPL), Cost per Acquisition (CPA), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), and overall marketing ROI.
- Manage substantial digital advertising budgets and ensure efficient allocation of marketing spend.
- Lead campaign planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and continuous optimization.
- Build advanced audience segmentation, remarketing, and conversion optimization strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Admissions, Branding, Content, Creative, CRM, and Technology teams to improve lead quality and conversion.
- Implement A/B testing for creatives, landing pages, audience targeting, and campaign funnels.
- Analyse campaign performance using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Looker Studio, Meta Ads Manager, and other analytics tools.
- Ensure accurate campaign tracking, attribution modelling, and reporting dashboards.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging digital marketing technologies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the performance marketing team while driving a culture of innovation and accountability.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 10–15 years of experience in Performance Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Growth Marketing.
- Proven experience managing high-budget digital marketing campaigns with measurable business outcomes.
- Strong expertise in:
- Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube)
- Meta Ads Manager
- LinkedIn Ads
- Programmatic Advertising
- GA4 & Google Tag Manager
- Looker Studio
- Marketing Automation Platforms
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
- Strong understanding of attribution models, audience segmentation, lead nurturing, and marketing analytics.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in Education, EdTech, BFSI, E-commerce, Consumer Internet, or Large Service Organizations will be preferred.
Educational Qualifications
- MBA in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, GA4, or other relevant digital marketing certifications will be an added advantage.
