Data Scientist

• Help decision makers anticipate and respond faster to emerging trends through AI-powered decision intelligence and real-time insights.
• Leverage advanced AI, GenAI, and optimization techniques to solve high-impact business problems at scale.

Responsibilities

• Solve business problems by applying Machine Learning / Deep Learning models on large volumes of data.
• Work on the full spectrum of activities:
• framing solution
• identifying data sources (internal & external)
• conducting experiments
• delivering production-ready models
• Build end-to-end AI products including deployment, monitoring, retraining pipelines, and governance.
• Apply Generative AI (LLMs) for business use cases such as:
• personalized customer engagement
• AI copilots for operations teams
• demand intelligence through unstructured data
• retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for enterprise knowledge
• Solve real-world optimization problems such as:
• delivery fleet optimization
• inventory & replenishment planning
• store-level workforce scheduling
• pricing and promotion optimization
• Proactive communication to understand the problem, work progress & results.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to drive adoption and measurable impact.

Required Skills

• 4–6 years of experience building scalable machine learning models in a production setting on large volumes of data.
• Strong data wrangling & programming skills (Python, SQL) & experience with cloud technologies.
• Strong understanding of core Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques, including supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation, and neural network architectures.
• Hands-on experience applying ML/DL to real-world business problems such as forecasting, personalization, customer analytics, and operational optimization.
• Exposure to GenAI/LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, or AI agent frameworks is a strong plus.
• Practical knowledge of working with code repository & agile framework.
• Experience with MLOps tools (CI/CD, MLflow, model monitoring, feature stores) is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/M.Tech (IISC,IIT,NIT or similar institutes)
