Mode Work Hybrid (3 days a week office) Location -?Mumbai, Kandivali Mandatory Skills :?SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Data analytics, Data visualization, Statistical methods, SQL queries, Data structures, Data tables, Scripting Key Responsibilities: Understand the source for data i.e. Data structure, data tables and ability to extract from the source or liaise with Data lake team to obtain relevant data. Apply data analytics techniques (SQL queries, scripts, data visualization, and statistical methods) to assess large data sets, validate workflow execution, and detect unusual patterns or exceptions. Drive continuous improvement by adopting advanced analytics, automation, and audit tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA, Power BI, Python, R, or equivalent) for deeper insights. Collaborate with IT developers, business owners, and risk teams to understand system functionality, logic flows, and data dependencies. Conduct detailed reviews of applications / systems to evaluate embedded logic, workflows, and configurations that drive critical business processes. Examine code-level implementations, scripts, and hard-coded business rules to identify control gaps, process inefficiencies, or deviations from approved policies and recommend automated validations / controls. Perform workflow and transaction analysis to ensure that business processes are designed and executed in compliance with internal standards and regulatory guidelines. Document findings with clear audit observations, highlighting risks, business impact, and recommendations for remediation. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field with certifications in data analytics Candidate with Professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CIA, CISM) will have an advantage 2?3 years of experience in IT audit, application audit, technology risk management, or data-driven auditing, preferably within financial services or lending operations. Strong understanding of application development processes, system workflows, and business process automation. Practical experience in data analytics tools (SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent) to perform audit testing and validation. Knowledge of financial products (loans, leasing, or credit workflows) and related regulatory requirements. Strong analytical skills to identify gaps, assess risks, and recommend improvements, with proven ability to use data to validate findings. Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Competencies: Risk-based mindset with strong analytical and investigative skills.
