About The Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst / Data Engineer who is excited to work on large-scale advertising and monetization data. This role will help transform billions of daily events into actionable insights that improve publisher revenue, ad performance, and platform efficiency.

You will work closely with engineering, AdOps, and product teams to build reliable data pipelines, analyze monetization performance, and power data-driven decision making across the platform.

This is an opportunity to work on high-throughput systems processing billions of ad requests, impressions, clicks, and revenue events daily.

Key Responsibilities

Data Pipeline & Infrastructure

  • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines that process large volumes of ad events such as requests, impressions, clicks, installs, and revenue signals.
  • Build ETL workflows for ingesting data from ad networks, SDK telemetry, and internal services.
  • Optimize data warehouse schemas and data models for fast analytics queries.
  • Monitor and ensure data accuracy, reliability, and latency across pipelines.

Monetization & Product Analytics

  • Analyze advertising performance metrics such as:
    • eCPM
    • Fill Rate
    • ARPDAU
    • Impressions / Requests
    • Revenue per user
  • Generate insights that help improve publisher monetization and ad yield optimization.
  • Work with product teams to analyze ad placement performance, user engagement, and revenue trends.
Experimentation & Optimization

  • Support A/B testing and experimentation around ad formats, placements, and monetization strategies.
  • Build dashboards and analytics frameworks to measure experiment impact and revenue lift.
  • Identify opportunities to improve auction efficiency, ad delivery performance, and user experience.

Data Accessibility & Reporting

  • Build dashboards and data tools used by product, AdOps, and business teams.
  • Deliver data-driven insights and reports that influence product and monetization decisions.
  • Help define and maintain key business metrics and tracking standards.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in SQL and data querying
  • Programming experience with Python / Scala
  • Experience building ETL pipelines and data workflows
  • Experience with data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.)
  • Understanding of large-scale event data processing
  • Experience with dashboarding tools such as Looker, Tableau, Metabase, or Superset
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into business insights

Good to Have

  • Experience working in AdTech, programmatic advertising, or mobile monetization
  • Familiarity with GAM, AdMob, ironSource, Unity Ads, or other ad platforms
  • Experience processing high-throughput streaming data (Kafka, Spark, Flink)
  • Understanding of real-time bidding (RTB) systems and ad auctions
  • Exposure to mobile app analytics or gaming monetization
