Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Customer Support Engineer – TV Installation role based in Guindy. The role involves installing, configuring, and testing TVs and related AV equipment at client locations, ensuring proper mounting, cabling, and integration with existing systems. The Customer Support Engineer will provide on-site technical support, troubleshoot installation and connectivity issues, and perform routine checks to maintain optimal performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, documenting installation details, guiding clients on equipment use and basic maintenance, and responding to service requests in a timely and professional manner. The role also requires adherence to safety standards and company procedures while delivering a high level of customer service and clear communication.
Qualifications
  • Strong technical aptitude for AV systems, including TV installation, cabling, mounting, and basic configuration of displays and related hardware.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting connectivity, signal issues, and integrating TVs with AV components such as controllers, switchers, and network devices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, installation manuals, and wiring diagrams, with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Effective customer service and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information clearly and manage client expectations on-site.
  • Capability to work safely with tools and equipment, follow installation best practices, and comply with workplace safety standards.
  • Willingness to work on-site at client locations in and around Guindy, including occasional extended hours when project timelines require.
  • Relevant technical diploma or degree in electronics, electrical, IT, or a related field; certifications in AV or networking are an advantage.
  • Previous experience in AV installation, field support, or a similar technical support role is preferred.
