The Love List is a fast-growing, luxury matchmaking company redefining modern dating for high-caliber individuals. We combine high-touch service, curated introductions, and a strong brand presence to create meaningful, lasting relationships for our clients. As we scale, we’re looking for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Operations Manager to help streamline our internal processes and elevate the overall client experience.

Role Overview

This is a part-time, remote role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and can wear multiple hats. You will play a key role in day-to-day operations, client communications, sales support, and brand execution. This role requires someone who is both operationally strong and creatively sharp — equally comfortable managing logistics as they are contributing to content and client-facing materials.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Experience & Customer Service

• Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries (email, CRM, etc.)
• Ensure a high-touch, luxury-level experience across all client interactions
• Manage onboarding communications for new clients
• Follow up with leads, applicants, and active clients in a timely and polished manner
• Maintain organized records of client interactions and status updates

2. Sales & Matchmaking Support

• Assist in selling matchmaking packages through thoughtful, relationship-driven communication
• Follow up with warm leads and guide them through the decision-making process
• Support matchmakers with coordination, scheduling, and client logistics
• Help maintain and update client pipelines and internal tracking systems

3. Operations & Process Management

• Streamline internal workflows and identify areas for efficiency
• Manage scheduling, calendars, and internal coordination
• Ensure all systems (CRM, email lists, client databases) are up to date and organized
• Assist in building scalable processes as the company grows

4. Content & Copywriting Support

• Assist with drafting and editing newsletters, email campaigns, and client communications
• Collaborate on content that reflects The Love List’s luxury, high-value brand voice
• Help ensure all content has clear takeaways, structure, and conversion-focused messaging
• Contribute ideas for editorial direction, including interviews, insights, and structured pieces

5. Event Planning & Execution

• Assist in planning and coordinating in-person and virtual events
• Manage guest lists, invitations, and follow-ups
• Ensure seamless execution and a premium experience for attendees
• Support post-event follow-up and client engagement

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in operations, customer experience, or a similar role (startup experience preferred)
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Strong written communication and attention to detail
• Comfortable in a client-facing, sales-oriented environment
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-moving company
• Experience with CRMs, email platforms, and project management tools is a plus
• Interest in dating, relationships, or luxury services is highly preferred
