Job Summary

As the Custodian at PLK Communities, you play a crucial role in ensuring our multi-family apartment community remains clean, welcoming, and comfortable for residents and visitors. Your hard work and attention to detail help maintain the property's appearance and contribute to a positive living environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain common areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, amenity areas, and recreation facilities.
Perform regular upkeep of outdoor areas, such as walkways, parking lots, and landscaped areas, including trash removal and sweeping.
Sanitize high-touch surfaces and ensure cleanliness in shared spaces.
Assist with setting up and breaking down community events or meetings.
Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues to management.
Respond promptly to resident and staff requests related to cleanliness and minor maintenance needs.
Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and procedures.
Support maintenance team with light duties as needed.

Position Expectations

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
