Reports To: Maintenance Manager
FLSA: Non - Exempt
$2,000.00 sign-on bonus

Position Summary

Maintain a clean and Sanitary Facility both inside and outside. Snow removal and salting as needed, along with minor maintenance assistance. Maintains an inventory of the materials needed to perform cleaning on areas listed above. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Five Primary Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains building facilities (Gathers, empties trash, cleans walls, dust and etc.)


• Performs cleaning and janitorial duties and services, cleans, and supplies restrooms.


• Limited grounds maintenance, and minor interior repair work


• Cleans snow from entrances and sidewalks


• Fills out required daily/weekly/ monthly checklist, logs, and communicates to supervisor status of work orders/duties. 

SQF (Safe Quality Food) Compliance

It is the responsibility of every employee to ensure that V & V Supremo’s food safety and quality management system complies with food safety regulations and SQF compliance. In turn, our customers are assured that the product has been produced, processed, prepared, and handled according to the highest possible standards.

Hazard Prevention: Help to keep all work areas clean and free of unsafe obstacles. 

Educate: Educate yourself and others on the correct standard operating procedures for the task you are responsible for. 

Accountable: It’s your responsibility to understand and comply with the Company’s SQF policies and procedures

Report Food Safety Issues: It is your responsibility to communicate any food safety and quality problems to your supervisor to initiate action.

Training: Attend all required training and pass all necessary knowledge or skill based evaluations

• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to company procedures. 


• Performs the necessary room set-ups for scheduled meetings.


• Maintains proper inventory levels of supplies needed 


• Responsible for complying to all Safe Quality Food (SQF) polices/procedures and requirements for position. 

• Responsible for following Safety (OSHA) regulations and procedures.

• Follow GMP’s, sanitation procedures, and quality procedures as set forth by QA and/or supervisors.


• Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Foreman, or other Management.

Absence of Supervisor

In the absence your direct supervisor it is your responsibility to refer to key personnel of equal status for any food safety issues. Please refer to the organization chart of responsibility or ask your supervisor for further clarification

This role is performed in a food manufacturing environment and require strict adherence to food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards, including use of required PPE. Employees may work in areas with variable temperatures, machinery noise. The role requires standing or walking for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks, and regularly lifting up to 25–35 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance).
