Role Purpose

To design, institutionalize, and continuously enhance a scalable, governance-led, impact-measured CSR ecosystem aligned with the organization’s Vision, Mission, and Values.

The role will architect frameworks, policies, processes, impact measurement models, and thought leadership outputs to ensure CSR investments deliver measurable social impact and strategic value.

This position operates as a strategic architect and analytical thought partner to the CSR Head.


Responsibilities


1. CSR Strategy & Framework Institutionalization

  • Design governance architecture, approval workflows, and delegation matrices.
  • Create scalable playbooks adaptable across business units and geographies.
  • Develop and formalize enterprise-wide CSR framework.


2. Governance, Compliance & Process Excellence

  • Develop SOPs, policy documents, risk registers, and compliance trackers.
  • Ensure full statutory compliance under Companies Act CSR provisions.
  • Design NGO/vendor evaluation and due diligence frameworks.


3. Impact Measurement & ROI/SROI Analytics

  • Develop Social Return on Investment (SROI) methodology.
  • Create & publish leadership dashboards and impact analytics reports.
  • Map financial utilization to measurable outcomes.


4. Thought Leadership & Knowledge Architecture

  • Draft white papers, thematic reports, and concept notes.
  • Develop position papers aligned to business-linked nation-building themes.
  • Represent organization on relevant industry platforms (if applicable).


5. Multi-Location & Business Integration

  • Align CSR initiatives with diverse business priorities and geographic contexts.
  • Collaborate with Business Heads, HR, Sustainability, and Site Leadership.


6. Strategic Advisory to CSR Head

  • Provide benchmarking insights and industry comparisons.
  • Recommend portfolio optimization based on impact data.
  • Identify long-term CSR themes aligned with business evolution.

Educational Qualifications

  • Master’s in public policy / development studies / social work / MBA or equivalent.
  • Certification in ESG / Impact Assessment preferred.


Experience

  • 8 -12 years in CSR strategy, development consulting, ESG advisory, or public policy.
  • Experience in multi-location or industrial ecosystem environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record in impact measurement and framework building.
