Creative Producer (Fractional / Contract)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Creative Producer to build and lead a scalable creative production function for a fast-growing marketing team. This role combines creative leadership with hands-on execution and production management, ensuring a consistent pipeline of high-performing visual assets across paid and lifecycle marketing channels.

This is not a traditional designer or copywriting role. We are looking for a strategic producer who can develop creative concepts, manage production from brief to delivery, direct external creative talent, and ensure every asset meets brand, quality, and performance standards.

The ideal candidate understands performance marketing, knows how to create content that converts, and can balance creativity with operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Production Leadership

  • Own the end-to-end visual creative production process.
  • Build and manage a reliable network of freelance editors, videographers, motion designers, photographers, AI artists, and UGC creators.
  • Direct all creative production from briefing through final delivery.
  • Establish scalable production systems and workflows.

Performance Creative

Produce and oversee creative assets for paid and lifecycle marketing including:

  • Video advertisements
  • User-generated content (UGC)
  • Static advertisements
  • Carousel ads
  • Motion graphics
  • Short-form social content

Ensure all creative is optimized for platforms including Meta, Google, YouTube, Reddit, Bing, and emerging paid channels.

Creative Strategy & Briefing

  • Develop clear creative briefs before production begins.
  • Translate marketing objectives into effective creative concepts.
  • Maintain creative testing roadmaps and concept libraries.
  • Collaborate with content and marketing teams to align creative with campaign goals.

Production Management

  • Source, commission, and manage freelance creative specialists.
  • Coordinate production timelines and asset delivery.
  • Direct video shoots and creative projects when required.
  • Maintain quality control across all creative outputs.

Brand Stewardship

  • Ensure all creative adheres to brand guidelines.
  • Review assets for compliance, factual accuracy, and consistency.
  • Maintain a high standard of visual storytelling across every touchpoint.

Creative Testing

  • Develop creative concepts for different customer segments and funnel stages.
  • Produce multiple creative variations for testing.
  • Continuously improve creative performance using campaign insights and data.

Required Experience

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Significant experience leading creative production for digital marketing campaigns.
  • Managed external creative teams or freelance production networks.
  • Strong background in video production and paid social creative.
  • Experience developing creative for performance marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Strong understanding of creative strategy and conversion-focused design.
