About the Role
We are Emilda & Co, a creative and digital solutions company working with brands that want marketing that actually performs β not just content that looks good.
We already have a strong design and production team that executes visuals perfectly. Now we are looking for a Creative Lead who can bridge the gap between Client Goals and Design Execution.
This role is not just about managing projects.
You will translate business problems into creative briefs, write compelling copy, guide the design team with clear direction, and troubleshoot campaigns when they donβt perform.

Your Core Responsibilities
1. Project Breakdown & Translation (The Bridge)
Take vague client requirements (e.g., βWe need more leadsβ) and translate them into clear creative direction.
Create structured creative briefs defining:
- The Hook
- The Visual Direction
- The Copy Message
Ensure the design team has clear instructions before production begins.
Remove guesswork from the design process.
2. Client Communication & Management
- Act as the primary communication bridge between client and internal team.
- Handle discussions with professionalism and confidence.
- Set clear expectations on timelines, deliverables, and campaign direction.
- Ensure the team is not overwhelmed by unclear client requests.
3. Strategic Troubleshooting (Ad Performance)
Analyze campaign performance when results are not meeting expectations.
Diagnose the root problem:
- Weak headline
- Confusing messaging
- Poor visual direction
- Unclear offer
- Propose strategic fixes and guide the team to execute improvements.
4. Quality Control
Review every asset before it goes to the client.
Ensure:
- Spelling and grammar accuracy
- Brand alignment
- Message clarity
- Maintain a consistent storytelling approach across campaigns.
5. Who You Are
- Excellent English communicator β written and spoken.
- A writer at heart β you understand that visuals attract attention, but words drive conversions.
- Strategic thinker β you care about whether marketing works, not just whether it looks good.
- Comfortable communicating with business owners and senior stakeholders.
- Able to translate strategy into actionable creative direction.
- Based in Calicut or willing to relocate.
