CPS Senior Specialist

Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Experienced Professional to lead complex operational and project-driven responsibilities within our CPS function. This role requires strong ownership, cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to coach and guide team members while driving service excellence, process improvements, and operational efficiency.

The individual will act as a key bridge between execution teams and leadership, ensuring consistent delivery against service metrics and continuous capability development within the team.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex customer projects, designs, quotations, and process improvement initiatives end‑to‑end.
• Responsible for team’s performance and oversee day‑to‑day execution activities handled by other team members, ensuring high accuracy and turnaround.
• With prior supervisory experience, takes on supervision for sizable group of people.
• Drive and own service metrics (Quality and Service Levels for the team and support continuous improvement.
• Own and lead training, onboarding, and capability‑building initiatives for new and existing team members.
• Represent the function/ team to collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• Own, create and maintain reports/dashboards to track performance and improvement plans.
• Prepare lighting and shade design estimations using Design Software and AutoCAD
• Generate project deliverables including:
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Submittal packages
• Wiring diagrams and general layouts
• Specification cut‑sheets
• Prepare official quotations and change orders
• Coordinate with internal project teams, Field Service Engineers, Sales, and Customer Service
• Maintain documentation and updates in tools such as Lutron Designing & quoting software’s, AutoCAD, and Salesforce.
• Support hiring, team stabilization, and transition into people leadership responsibilities.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science. Engineer with electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret construction documents.
• Hands‑on experience with AutoCAD or any other design tools.
• Lighting design hands-on is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ownership mindset with ability to balance execution + mentoring.
• Readiness to lead multiple initiatives and team.
