Job summary

Ensure that products delivered to our customers are in compliance with packaging regulations and standards based on:

• supplier regulatory documents for raw material and components
• product ‘s sales region and usage category (cosmetic, food, pharma)
• Product composition
• Coordinate with Albea sites and Regulatory Affairs team to obtain product material description and supplier regulatory documents.
• Maintain updated customers’ requests database and product documentation library available for all sites.
• Support Global Regulatory Affairs Manager for world-wide compliance of Albea products in a context of increasing level of strict regulations: Cosmetic, Food-contact, dangerous substances black-lists

Scope

Handle and coordinate worldwide RCPS customer requests and support the site to harmonize the answers based on continuous regulatory requirements evolution.

Main activities

Process Regulatory Customers requests:

• Support RCPS Team with customer documentation requests globally for packaging Regulatory Compliance Attestations according to cosmetic, pharma/medical devices and food regulations covering Europe, Us and Asia markets.
• Participate to other RCPS activities:
•  Support RCPS team for any activity related to products & customers (new projects development, raw materials/component support,…)
• Participate to process improvement and department transformation

Accountability including KPIs

•       Support the timely sending of the Global Customer Regulatory Attestations ensuring customer satisfaction by looking for missing supplier documents for the RA Team

•       Maintain updated regulatory database accessible by all locations.

Profile (Qualification & Experience)

Education & Experience

•       B.Pharm Science, MSc with knowledge

•       Experience in a regulatory affairs field as cosmetic or pharma/medical device is a plus

•       Knowledge on packaging regulatory requirements globally.

•       Knowledge on cosmetic regulatory requirements globally.

•       Knowledge on food packaging regulatory requirements globally.

Preferred Skills:

Skills/knowledge / abilities

•       Scientific and/or physical-chemistry background.

•       Excellent communication skills to inform all stake holders about the status of the requests and be able to train new Sales & Project managers to basics of Regulatory Affairs for packaging (ease and persuasion)

•       Analytical: an analytic mind, ease in synthesis and presentation of data Quick learner, able to manage its activity in a matrix environment, with people of other departments, all Product Lines.
