Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, monitor, and manage project and operational budgets.
  • Perform cost estimation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Develop and implement cost control systems, procedures, and reporting tools.
  • Review vendor quotations and conduct cost comparisons to ensure value for money.
  • Monitor and track cost commitments and expenditures.
  • Prepare regular cost reports and dashboards for senior management.
  • Analyze cost trends and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
  • Liaise with procurement, finance, engineering, and operations teams to ensure accurate cost tracking.
  • Assist in contract negotiation and financial risk assessment.
  • Conduct post-project cost analysis to support continuous improvement.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • In-depth knowledge of cost control systems and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics), and cost management tools
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
