Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, monitor, and manage project and operational budgets.
- Perform cost estimation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Develop and implement cost control systems, procedures, and reporting tools.
- Review vendor quotations and conduct cost comparisons to ensure value for money.
- Monitor and track cost commitments and expenditures.
- Prepare regular cost reports and dashboards for senior management.
- Analyze cost trends and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
- Liaise with procurement, finance, engineering, and operations teams to ensure accurate cost tracking.
- Assist in contract negotiation and financial risk assessment.
- Conduct post-project cost analysis to support continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- In-depth knowledge of cost control systems and financial analysis
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics), and cost management tools
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
