Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cost Estimator role based in Sāki Nāka. The Cost Estimator will analyze project requirements for commercial interior solutions and prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and services across design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance activities. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing drawings and specifications, gathering pricing from vendors and contractors, preparing budgets and quotations, and updating estimates as project scopes evolve. The role involves monitoring costs during project execution, supporting cost control measures, and collaborating closely with project managers, procurement teams, and finance to ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets. The Cost Estimator will also maintain accurate cost databases and contribute to process improvements in estimating and budgeting.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Strong cost management and cost control skills, with the ability to track and optimize project expenditures.
- Proficiency in project estimation and budgeting for commercial interiors or related construction projects.
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and vendor quotations.
- Experience with estimation or project management software and advanced spreadsheet skills.
- Relevant educational background in engineering, construction management, finance, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Prior experience in commercial interior fit-outs, retail environments, or civil construction is an advantage.
