We are seeking a skilled IT Professional to help scale our technology platform, drive innovation, and strengthen Exotian’s tech capabilities as we expand nationwide.

1. Technical Job Description (Skills & Responsibilities)

Core Technical Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Flight & Hotel Search Engines with real-time availability and pricing.
• Integrate third-party Aggregator APIs.
• Build modules for:
• Flight: Search, Fare Rules, Seat Map, SSR (Meals/Baggage), Pricing, Booking
• Hotel: Search, Room Mapping, Rate Comparison, Availability, Booking & Cancellation
• Implement PNR creation, ticketing, rebooking, refunds, cancellations, and full booking lifecycle logic.
• Develop fare caching layers using Redis/Memcached to improve search performance.
• Build B2B/B2C portals with markup, commission, wallet, and credit-control systems.
• Integrate payment gateways such as Razorpay, PayU, etc.
• Create dashboards/logs for booking flow, API errors, payment tracking, and reconciliation.

2. Technical Skills Required

Programming & Backend

• Strong experience in core PHP (mandatory).
• Expertise in RESTful APIs, handling JSON/XML formats.
• Ability to manage high-volume API request/response architecture.

Databases

• Strong knowledge of MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with database indexing, optimization, and stored procedures.

Caching & Performance

• Experience with Redis / Memcached for performance optimization.
• Understanding of queues, cron jobs, microservices, and distributed systems.

Infrastructure & Deployment

• Experience working on AWS / GCP / Linux servers.
• Familiarity with server monitoring, log analysis, and performance tuning.

Debugging & Troubleshooting

• Ability to analyze and resolve API failures, booking errors, and production issues.
• Strong knowledge of error logs, response mapping, latency reduction, and system reliability.
