Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cook based in Chennai, at our Karapakkam location. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and presenting meals and beverages in line with Nutria Café’s functional nutrition standards. Key responsibilities include ingredient preparation, maintaining high hygiene standards, following recipes, ensuring food quality, and contributing to a pleasant dining experience for customers. Collaborating with the kitchen team, the Cook will also contribute to menu innovation and stock management while adhering to safety and sanitation protocols.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in cooking and knowledge of various cuisines, including preparation techniques
- Experience in working with natural ingredients, meal plans, and functional nutrition
- Hygiene and safety practices, including compliance with food safety standards
- Teamwork, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills for menu innovation
- Prior experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred
- Culinary certification or relevant professional training is a plus
