Hiring: Conversion officer ( Counsellor )

Location: Teynampet, Chennai

Exp: 1-3 years

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Conversion Officer to guide prospective students through the overseas education process. The role involves student counselling, university shortlisting, and visa guidance, with a strong focus on UK education.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel students on UK universities, courses, and admission processes
Assist students with university shortlisting based on academic profile and career goals
Provide end-to-end visa counselling and documentation guidance
Convert student enquiries into successful applications and enrolments
Maintain regular follow-ups with students and ensure timely closures
Coordinate with internal teams and university partners for smooth processing.

Required Skills

Hands-on experience in UK counselling, university shortlisting, and visa counselling
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to communicate in Tamil, Hindi, or Telugu (in addition to English)
Good interpersonal skills with a student-centric approach and Understanding of the motivation and criteria which influence students from the India in selecting their abroad study destinations
Good knowledge of the higher education system and academic environment in India. Ability to handle multiple students and meet conversion targets.
