Controller

Day to Day:

An employer is seeking a Controller to join a growing organization and serve as a strategic financial leader. This individual will be responsible not only for the integrity of financial reporting, but also for driving margin expansion, improving operational discipline, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the business.

The Controller will translate financial data into actionable insights that impact pricing strategy, productivity, capital allocation, and overall cash flow performance. This role will partner closely with executive leadership to challenge assumptions, strengthen accountability, and ensure business strategies deliver measurable financial results.

Must Haves:

• 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including ownership of full financial statements
• Hands-on experience in cost accounting and margin analysis (SKU or job level, not just standard cost in ERP)
• Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Full cycle financial reporting ownership - not a support or shared services role
• Team leadership with direct reports
• Experience with ERP systems at a configuration or optimization level - not just report generation

Plusses:

• Experience with M&A or due diligence
• MBA

Compensation:

$130,000 to $140,000 per year annual salary, with a bonus on top.
