Control Panel Technician

Key Responsibilities:

1. Panel Assembly & Wiring

• Assemble control panels as per GA drawings and layout
• Perform internal wiring based on electrical schematics
• Mount components like PLCs, VFDs, relays, contactors, SMPS, terminals

2. Testing & Inspection

• Conduct continuity and insulation resistance tests
• Perform functional testing of panels before dispatch
• Ensure proper labeling, ferruling, and cable dressing

3. Troubleshooting & Maintenance

• Identify and rectify wiring faults and component issues
• Support panel modification and rework activities
• Assist in site installation and commissioning if required

4. Documentation & Compliance

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain testing records and checklists
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company guidelines

5. Coordination

• Work closely with design engineers and supervisors
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
• Support production targets and deadlines
