About The Role & Program
Disney Entertainment’s Research, Insights & Analytics (RIA) division serves as a center of excellence, consisting of more than 100 world-class researchers who measure all aspects of media consumption across a wide range of networks, digital properties, and SVOD services to guide The Walt Disney Company.
This role will support the Content, Consumer, & Brand Insights team, the team responsible for providing actionable, data-driven consumer insights to inform decision-making for Development, Programming, Marketing, and Strategy across some of the most recognizable brands on television.
This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, CA area from June 2026-January 2027.

The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour. This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, CA area from June 2026-January 2027.
What You Will Do
- Assist with project management: Support various aspects of qualitative and quantitative research, including logistics, coordination, reviewing discussion guides, managing stimuli, taking notes, reviewing questionnaires, proofing links, and helping with data analysis and visualization.
- Support ad-hoc requests: Analyze a variety of resources, summarize key insights, and communicate findings effectively.
- Create presentations and deliverables: Help create impactful presentations and deliverables using relevant data visualization techniques and assist in editing and distilling findings.
- Provide insights: Contribute insights into topics impacting our audience, including current content landscape trends and viewing behavior.
- Ensure quality and timeliness: Assist in ensuring the quality and timeliness of projects and deliverables by coordinating with internal teams and external research vendors.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Self-starter with passion, energy, and enthusiasm to impact the future of content.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, listening).
- Exceptional organization, time, and project management skills.
- Dedication to delivering the highest quality work; unflagging attention to detail.
- Flexible; embraces new assignments with a can-do attitude as priorities change.
- Collaborative and able to work across a variety of teams and establish strong relationships.
- Skilled at data visualization and creating impactful presentations and deliverables.
- Advanced computer skills; SPSS, Tableau, or Snowflake experience a plus.
- Advanced PowerPoint and design skills a plus.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Junior or Senior year preferred.
- Major or previous coursework in Communications, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, Media Studies or a related major is preferred.
- Candidates are asked to submit a writing sample detailing a research project they conducted independently as part of their application.
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
- Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization.
- This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, CA area from June 2026-January 2027.
- Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship.
- Fully available Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week.
- Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Burbank, CA area.
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.
