Job Title: Content & Social Media Strategist Trainee
Experience: 6months-1 year
Role Overview:
We're looking for a hands-on content strategist who can think, create, and execute, not just plan.
This role sits at the intersection of storytelling, platform growth, and internet culture. You'll own everything from content ideation to execution to performance, while staying deeply plugged into trends, Al tools, and evolving platform dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Strategy & Creation
- Build and execute platform-first content strategies aligned with brand and business goals.
- Plan and manage monthly content calendars across channels.
- Create high-performing content formats: posts, reels, carousels, threads, blogs, newsletters.
- Write sharp, platform-native copy tailored for each audience.
- Identify trends, hooks, and storytelling angles to drive engagement and shareability.
2. Social Media Management
(a) Own end-to-end management of platforms:
- X (Twitter)
- YouTube
- Emerging / experimental platforms
(b) Handle publishing, scheduling, and optimization
(c) Maintain consistency in brand voice, tone, and visual identity
3. Engagement & Community Building
- Manage comments, DMs, and conversations across platforms.
- Build and nurture an active, engaged digital community.
- Support campaigns, launches, and event promotions with real-time content.
- Identify opportunities to turn engagement into advocacy.
4. Analytics & Growth Optimization
- Track and analyse key performance metrics: reach, impressions, engagement, CTR, follower growth.
- Use tools like LinkedIn Analytics, Instagram Insights, YouTube Studio, etc.
- Derive insights and continuously optimize content strategy.
- Experiment with formats, hooks, and posting patterns to drive growth loops.
5. Collaboration & Execution
- Work closely with design, video, and performance teams.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for content inputs and approvals.
- Ensure timely and high-quality execution as per content calendar.
Required Skills:
- At least 6 months of experience in content creation & social media management.
- Strong writing, storytelling, and copywriting skills.
- Hands-on experience across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube, Red, Pinterest.
- Deep understanding of content formats (reels, shorts, carousels, threads).
- Familiarity with scheduling & analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Good to Have:
- Exposure to start up / innovation ecosystem.
- Basic design skills (Canva / Figma).
- Familiarity with Al content tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, etc.).
- Strong understanding of platform algorithms, trends, and growth hacks
