Job Description

Role Overview

At Konecranes, we’re not just building technology — we’re building the future of how the world lifts, moves, and operates. As we expand our Digital & Automation capabilities across the globe, we’re looking for a passionate RPA Consultant who’s excited to transform business processes through automation, intelligence, and innovation.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams across the globe and contribute to automation programs related to SAP S/4HANA and ITSM.

Key Responsibilities

• Exploring and analyzing business processes to uncover automation potential.
• Crafting crystal-clear Process Design Documents (PDD) and Solution Design Documents (SDD) that bring automation concepts to life.
• Develop, test, and deploy RPA solutions using UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
• Ensure bots are designed for scalability, maintainability, and robust exception handling.
• Support UAT, deployment, and post‑go‑live stabilization activities.
• Monitoring and fine‑tuning workflows to keep them optimized and efficient.
• Working closely with business and IT teams while sharing knowledge and documentation.
• Maintaining compliance with governance, security, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) standards.
• Upholding global ISO 14001 & 45001 environmental and safety commitments.
  
  

The role is based in our office in SP Infocity, Pune – but it goes without saying that the hybrid working is a part of our modern ways of working.

What You Bring To The Table

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience in RPA development and automation.
  
  

Technical Skills Must Haves

• Proficiency in at least one major RPA platform: UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
• Programming knowledge in Python, .NET, Java, or VB.
• Understanding of APIs, SQL databases, and system integrations.
• Experience working with Agile/DevOps methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  
  

Good-to-Have Skills / Value-Added Skills

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Experience with process mining tools (e.g., Celonis).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
  
  

AI & Intelligent Automation (Highly Valuable)

• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and automation use cases
• Experience with Generative AI tools (Copilot, Open AI integrations, etc.)
• Knowledge of Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) platforms
• Ability to integrate RPA and AI to develop end-to-end intelligent automation solutions
  
  

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
