We’re Hiring | AGM / GM – Commercial Sales & Leasing

Location: GIFT City (Primary) / Ahmedabad

We are looking for a seasoned Commercial Real Estate Leader to join us as AGM / GM – Commercial Sales & Leasing to drive strategic leasing and sales initiatives across our commercial and retail portfolio.

This leadership role will primarily focus on commercial leasing in GIFT City while also overseeing retail leasing and retail sales operations in Ahmedabad through a high-performing team.


Role Overview

The Cluster Head will be responsible for revenue growth, leasing strategy, institutional deal closures, and cluster-level profitability. The role requires deep expertise in commercial leasing, institutional client acquisition, and strategic sales leadership within the real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute annual business plans for commercial and retail verticals
  • Define revenue budgets, leasing targets, and sales projections
  • Drive cluster-level P&L ownership and profitability optimization
  • Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing sales and leasing teams

Commercial Leasing – Primary Focus (GIFT City)

  • Design and implement leasing strategies for premium commercial assets
  • Source and close institutional clients including BFSI, FinTech, GCCs, IT/ITES, and multinational corporations
  • Manage the complete deal lifecycle: lead generation, site visits, negotiations, structuring, and closures
  • Ensure compliance with SEZ/IFSC regulations and GIFT City leasing frameworks
  • Strengthen relationships with IPCs, corporate brokers, and international leasing partners

Retail Leasing & Retail Sales (Ahmedabad)

  • Lead leasing of shops, showrooms, and office spaces
  • Drive retail sales through internal teams and channel partners
  • Define optimal tenant mix strategies to enhance project positioning and footfall
  • Monitor absorption rates, pricing strategy, and inventory movement

Business Development & Market Intelligence

  • Track market benchmarks, rental trends, and competitive positioning
  • Identify expansion opportunities across commercial and retail segments
  • Build and strengthen broker networks and institutional partnerships

Financial & Reporting Accountability

  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Drive pricing strategy and yield optimization
  • Present leasing dashboards, MIS reports, pipeline updates, and occupancy metrics to leadership
  • Monitor receivables and ensure timely revenue realization

Stakeholder & Tenant Management

  • Manage relationships with existing tenants to ensure renewals and retention
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Marketing, CRM, and Facility teams for seamless execution
  • Ensure timely completion of LOIs, Agreements to Lease, Lease Deeds, and handovers


Experience & Qualification

  • 15–20 years of experience in Commercial & Retail Real Estate Leasing / Sales
  • Strong exposure to institutional leasing and large commercial transactions
  • Proven leadership experience in managing sales & leasing teams
  • MBA (Marketing / Finance / Real Estate) preferred
  • Graduate in any discipline (mandatory)
