Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to support client retention and production efforts within their growing agency. This role works closely with Producers and Senior Account Executives to deliver high-quality service to commercial insurance clients.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of commercial insurance experience, strong attention to detail, and a proactive service mindset. Experience with the AppliedEPIC agency management system is strongly preferred.

This position offers a very balanced hybrid work environment, combining time in our Kenwood office in Cincinnati with remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day service and support to a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
• Assist Producers and Senior Account Executives in managing client relationships and retention efforts
• Issue and process certificates of insurance accurately and in a timely manner
• Review and check policies for accuracy, endorsements, and coverage details
• Maintain and update client records within the AppliedEPIC agency management system
• Manage client communications including coverage questions, policy changes, and service requests
• Assist with new business submissions, marketing efforts, and proposal preparation
• Coordinate with insurance carriers regarding policy servicing and documentation
• Ensure service standards are met with a focus on responsiveness, accuracy, and professionalism

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance servicing or account management
• Experience working within an independent insurance agency or brokerage preferred
• Familiarity with AppliedEPIC agency management system strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Client-first mindset with strong relationship-building abilities
• Active Ohio Property & Casualty insurance license (or ability to obtain)
