Job Description

We are looking for a Business/Commercial Controller for our FMCG partner,

for someone who understands how a sales-driven company operates and takes joy in supporting the business with their work.

Location: Budapest + 2 days home office

Tasks

Preparing the division’s annual plans and forecasts in collaboration with the Sales team
During monthly closures: posting general ledger corrections, accruals, and cost allocations
Full P&L analysis of the division, presenting plan vs. actual variances to the division head
Working Capital reports and analyses (inventory, receivables, suppliers)
Providing data to the foreign owner
Business decision support
Active participation in developing controlling processes
Collaboration with other departments and bidirectional information flow with Accounting, Finance, Logistics, and Sales

Expectations

3-5 years of relevant business controlling experience
Advanced Excel skills
A higher education degree in Controlling / Finance / Accounting
English language skills at a communicative level
A colleague with strong analytical abilities who enjoys deep-diving into analyses, but also values teamwork and collaboration

NICE TO HAVE;

Controlling experience in the FMCG sector
MS Navision knowledge
IT skills related to data handling: knowledge of SQL, MS Power Query, or Power BI
Knowledge of writing Excel macros
