Job Title: Product Manager – DC Design & Build Services.

Location: Chennai, Noida and Bangalore.

Experience: 8years to 20 years.


The Role

The CoE – AI Data Center Cooling Design & Build is a global Center-of-Excellence role responsible for defining, standardizing, and governing thermal management architectures for next-generation AI-ready and hyperscale data centers.

This role serves as the technical authority for mission-critical cooling systems and ensures designs are scalable, energy-efficient, resilient, and aligned with hyperscaler and sustainability expectations.

The position translates high-density AI heat loads into optimized cooling solutions covering air-based and liquid-based technologies, including chilled water systems, DX systems, rear-door heat exchangers, direct-to-chip liquid cooling, and immersion cooling.

The role establishes global cooling reference architectures, standardized design frameworks, and deployment playbooks to enable repeatable global builds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and govern global cooling design standards for AI and hyperscale data centers

• Develop end-to-end thermal management architectures for high-density environments

• Translate GPU and AI workload heat profiles into optimized cooling designs

• Lead design and adoption of liquid cooling technologies (D2C, RDHx, immersion)

• Develop cooling redundancy models such as N+1, 2N, and distributed cooling

• Create standardized cooling design templates and engineering toolkits

• Review and approve cooling system schematics and layouts

• Define water management, leak detection, and mitigation strategies

• Lead cooling design risk assessments and mitigation planning

• Validate OEM cooling equipment selection and interoperability

• Develop lifecycle and maintainability strategies

• Establish monitoring and analytics strategies for thermal performance

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Thermal Engineering
  • 10–12+ years in mission-critical cooling or HVAC design
  • Strong experience in hyperscale or AI data centers
  • Expertise in chilled water, DX, and liquid cooling systems
  • Proven experience in high-density and HPC environments
  • Experience working with global OEM ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of redundancy and resiliency strategies
  • Experience supporting multi-region deployments
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills
