Job Title: CNC Turning & Turn-Mill Programmer / Operator

Location: Hyderabad, India 

Job Type: Full-Time 

Experience: 2–15 Years


Job Summary: We are seeking skilled CNC Turning and Turn-Mill Programmers and Operators to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidates will have hands-on expertise in CNC turning and turn-mill programming, setup, and operation to produce precision components efficiently and accurately. We are hiring for both Programmer and Operator positions across turning and turn-mill machines.


Key Responsibilities — Programmer:


  • Program, set up, and optimize CNC turning and turn-mill machines.
  • Develop efficient CNC programs for complex turning, milling, and multi-axis machining operations.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD models to derive machining strategies.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and tool paths for different materials.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues, edit programs, and optimize cycle times.
  • Perform first-article inspections and validate programs against quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality teams on process improvements.


Key Responsibilities — Operator:


  • Set up and operate CNC turning and turn-mill machines as per approved programs and work instructions.
  • Load/unload components, select and fit tooling, and make minor offset adjustments.
  • Monitor machining cycles and perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and CMM.
  • Identify and report deviations, tool wear, or quality issues to the Programmer/Supervisor.
  • Maintain machine tools and perform routine preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, 5S, and quality standards on the shop floor.


Requirements — Programmer:


  • 2–15 years of experience in CNC turning/turn-mill programming.
  • Proficiency in G-code programming and CAM software (Master cam, Fusion 360, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of multi-axis machining and live tooling operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
  • Experience machining metals such as stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum.


Requirements — Operator:


  • 2–15 years of experience operating CNC turning/turn-mill machines.
  • Working knowledge of G-code, offsets, and tool changes.
  • Ability to read basic engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Familiarity with inspection tools like calipers, micrometers, and CMM.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.


Preferred Qualifications (Both Roles):


  • Experience in high-precision aerospace, defense, or automotive industries.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
  • Understanding of CAD/CAM software and post-processing for CNC controls.
